this sketch was made at the beginning of my journalistic drawing and paintings series, this is a view from my mothers former dining room now den into the kitchen. the painting on the wall is a monet which has always sort of haunted various rooms in my moms house and the three plates on the wall had previously been a set of four, and throughout my life china, belleek and waterford crystal have carried a good deal of importance, and have been the centerpieces of some rather interesting stories.
